(Kansas City, MO April 22, 2021) – Trilogie announced today it is enrolled to pursue the WELL Health-Safety Rating for its showroom through the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). The WELL Health-Safety Rating is an evidence-based, third-party verified rating for all new and existing building and space types focusing on operational policies, maintenance protocols, stakeholder engagement, and emergency plans to address a post-COVID-19 environment now and into the future.
The WELL Health-Safety Rating empowers owners and operators across large and small businesses to take the necessary steps in prioritizing the health and safety of their staff and visitors. The WELL Health-Safety Rating can help guide users in preparing their spaces for re-entry in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, instilling confidence in those who come through the building.
Located in Kansas City’s Historic West Bottoms, Trilogie is a boutique firm obsessed with helping other businesses create physical workspaces where both the occupants and the companies thrive. Through office furniture, design, and WELL Consulting, Trilogie’s holistic approach to the built environment helps their clients support and sustain efforts to impact their employees’ overall wellbeing positively.
“Our company is in a unique position. Not only does our team share a passion for health and wellbeing within our organization, but as a business, we directly impact our clients’ spaces through contract furniture, design, and our newly launched WELL Building Consulting services. If we are out there promoting the importance of WELL Buildings and the WELL Health-Safety Rating, it only makes sense we achieve them for our own spaces,” said Courtnay Bradley, Trilogie Founder.
In its efforts to achieve the WELL Health-Safety Rating, Trilogie will implement features such as Cleaning and Sanitization Procedures, Emergency Preparedness Programs, Health Service Resources, Air and Water Quality, and Stakeholder Engagement.
The WELL Health-Safety Rating provides a centralized source and governing body to validate owners’ and operators’ efforts. It leverages insights drawn from the IWBI Task Force on COVID-19, in addition to guidance on the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory infections developed by the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), global disease control and prevention centers and emergency management agencies. Additionally, the WELL Health Safety Rating utilizes standards-making associations such as ASTM International and ASHRAE, as well as core principles already established by IWBI’s WELL Building Standard, the premier framework for advancing health in buildings and spaces of all kinds.
Following the successful completion of third-party documentation review by GBCI to confirm Trilogie has met the feature-specific intents and requirements, Trilogie’s West Bottoms Showroom will be awarded the WELL Health-Safety Rating.
