Hello friends! All of us at Trilogie are throwing down a challenge for you and your team.
If you have been following us recently, you probably noticed us talking about The Fab Five. Those are five areas we positively impact when we help companies furnish and design their physical spaces. All five are equally important and contribute to the overall success of companies just like yours; however today I want to focus on wellness.
You’ve most likely heard about how wellness programs can positively affect your employees physical and mental health and how that creates a domino effect of success for your organization but have you seen some of the statistics? Just googling “wellness program statistics” generates an overwhelming number of research studies and stats. Here are only a few from risepeople.com and their blog post 25 Fascinating Statistics About Workplace Wellness Statistics:
- 91% of workers at companies that support well-being efforts say they feel motivated to do their best. ( American Psychological Association ) 91%!!!!! So basically every employee.
- Organizations with highly effective health and productivity programs report 11% higher revenue per employee, 1.8 fewer days absent per employee per year, and 28% greater shareholder returns. ( Buffett National Wellness Survey )
- 54% of benefits professionals cite employee morale as their most improved metric from implementing wellness programs. (HUB)
Fascinating indeed. But don’t just take some random website’s word for it. Look at all the Kansas City companies that have PROVEN wellness programs work. The KCBJ just published these honorees last week. Congrats to all of those companies!
So how do we, an office furniture dealer and design firm fit in? Sure, we help companies by providing height adjustable desks, ergonomic task chairs, and task lighting and we thoughtfully design space plans with our Fab Five in mind. But we want to make even MORE of an impact in your life spaces. So with great excitement, we are launching Trilogie’s Wellness Wednesdays. Each Wednesday we’ll be posting tips, tricks, and hacks on how to inspire your employees and your team to make positive changes that will strengthen their overall wellness and help your organization thrive as a whole.
THE THROW DOWN, however, is our challenge to you and the individuals in your organization to pick one thing you each want to do, or a habit you want to break that would positively impact your wellness and join us in a March 30in30 contest.
It can be anything! Want to stop eating at your desk? Workout regularly? Quit smoking? Spend more quality time with your friends or family? Decrease your social media habit? Take the stairs instead of the elevator? Eat more veggies? Whatever you want, you do you, but join us in the challenge and our goal of crowdsourcing accountability!
If you’re up to the challenge, type I’m IN in the comments section and email firstname.lastname@example.org with your first name/last initial and your goal. We’ll add you to the public accountability spreadsheet. Then each day email us that you accomplished your goal for the day and our team will update the spreadsheet for everyone to stay motivated! We’ll be right there alongside you for the whole month.
